Velocity Composites is a manufacturer of
quality composite parts for automotive,
racing, defense, medical, and aerospace
industries. We have over 25 years of combined
experience with High performance carbon
composites parts and tooling in the race
sector. We have a full in-house machine
shop along with ovens for post curing, and
a static cutting machine for cutting all
of our materials. Over the years we have
developed are own proprietary processes
which has kept us in the front of our competition.
We meet and exceed our customer’s

Velocity Composites purchases a new 6’x6’x6’
Grieve oven, 500°F capable curing oven.
Oven has been plumbed with an 8 vacuum fitting
manifold and is fully functional and running.
Oven was purchased from W.H. Kay.
9-23-10
Grieve oven has been professionally calibrated
by BDC from Saint Louis. Both the Honeywell
oven controller and Partlow chart recorder
have been fine tuned to ensure an accurate
post cure.

Velocity Composites has just purchased a
6’x24’ Gerber DCS-2506 static
cutting table. The cutting machine is capable
of cutting all of our Carbon, Kevlar, Fiberglass
prepreg or dry, cores, and bag materials
quickly and effortlessly eliminating human
error. This will make our process much more
accurate and efficient while increasing
our quality and consistency. The machine
will be installed next month.
10-4-10
New low cost tooling has been constructed
and the first part has been completed for
a low volume run of spill plates for the
Alanabi Race team. These high performing
spill plates will be constructed from Carbon
fiber and infused with epoxy followed by
a post cure in our oven.
